It’s nearly time for Hebden Bridge Open Studios 2013! I am opening my house, tidying my studio, and hiding all the baskets of toys away for three whole days. There will be framed and unframed prints…
lanterns (including this new one of Whitby).
and all my newly printed cards…
There will also be some bargains, including some small printers proofs which i have been putting the embroidery on today.
There are 84 artists showing work this year! Have a look in the Open Studios brochure. My exhibition at Heart Gallery, in the centre of Hebden Bridge, remains up until July 7th. Though most of the originals have now been collected, there is still a big display in their picture room, and it’s a gorgeous gallery to visit…
my brother and sister in law just bought me one of the lanterns for my 30th birthday (I am into art so they knew I would appreciate it) and I absolutely love it. I am actually going to order the Whitby one too. I love Yorkshire so think they are a way for me to remember my favourite places in England when im at home in Norwich.
I learned about you through Facebook friend Maggie hough who lives in new Zealand !! – all my family are from Yorkshire and I lived in York for a few years – your paintings are wonderful and the use of colours and lines are so unique – do you sell prints, originals ?? As I now live in Dorset it not possible to get to the exhibition – im sure it will be a huge success sue
