In the winter months, everything in the valley bottom turns shades of sludgy green. If it’s wet and grey I like to head along the tow path because the boats are such beautiful, bright colours. Between Machpelah and Mytholmroyd there’s a half mile stretch of boats, end to end, with bunting, washing, coloured pots and fairy lights. Even on the dullest of days, it’s never dull there. ‘A Day in the Life’ is the name of the Beatles boat at Mayroyd Moorings.

Available as a signed limited edition print, hand-finished with gold leaf and gold thread. All prints are mounted and can be posted, unless purchased framed.
