Sandal House to Stoodley (2023)
Original media: Inks, gouache, acrylics, watercolour, coloured pencil, gold leaf and gold thread
Measures 75cm x 59cm (mounted)
Painted for 'HOME' - a solo exhibition at Heart Gallery, Hebden Bridge.
Above Heptonstall, almost in Slack, I often wait by this wall, looking at this view, whilst waiting for my girls to finish Guides and Rangers. I love any view of Stoodley Pike - the light changes all the time and some days it appears black, and others, gold. This grand building is Sandal House.
