Races at Fountains Abbey (2018)

Original media: Gouache, inks, acrylics, pigment sticks, pencils, gold leaf and gold thread.

Painted for 'Craggs & Fells' – a solo exhibition at Heart Gallery, Hebden Bridge. This has been turned into a paper tea-light lantern.

We took a picnic to Fountains Abbey and did relay races along the riverbank with the children to warm them up!
