Spinny Painting and Open Studios

June 29th, 2010 by Kate

Eat your heart out Damien Hirst, today Hattie and I have been doing our own spin paintings. You should see the state of the kitchen table – actually, of us too. And the blue paint took quite some scrubbing to get off.

Such fun though!

And then this evening I have begun to sort out my studio for my big clear out at Open Studios this weekend. May I tempt you along with the bargains in these boxes? There are some pretty things…

I’m also going over to Brighouse tomorrow to collect my new work and my browser, all ready for turning my front room into a very small gallery for the weekend.

Open Studios begins this Friday, from 11 til 5. If you go to the Hebden Bridge Open Studios website you can download the brochure. There are 58 artists taking part this year! My lovely friend Hannah Nunn at Radiance (who came to my house for tea and cake today) is having a seconds sale.
